Evan Power has served as Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida since January 2024 and is a member of the Republican National Committee. Prior to becoming Chairman, Power led the Leon County Republican Party and served as Vice Chair of the Republican Party of Florida, earning a reputation as a disciplined organizer and effective leader in some of the state’s most challenging political terrain.
A graduate of Florida State University with a degree in Finance, Power began his political career working for U.S. Senator Marco Rubio and quickly became active in grassroots party leadership. In heavily Democratic Leon County, Power helped lead Republicans to historic victories — including Corey Simon’s landmark win for the Florida Senate, marking the first time since Reconstruction that Republicans captured the seat.
As Chairman of the Republican Party of Florida, Power partnered closely with President Donald J. Trump and his campaign to deliver historic statewide victories, including President Trump’s record-setting 13-point win in Florida in 2024. Under Power’s leadership, Florida Republicans expanded their voter registration advantage to more than 1.4 million voters, built the strongest grassroots operation in the nation, and cemented Florida’s status as the epicenter of the America First movement.
Power is a three-time delegate to the Republican National Convention, has twice been elected to serve on the Convention’s Rules and Order Committee, and proudly served as a member of the Electoral College for President Trump in 2024. Within the Republican National Committee, he currently serves on the Rules Committee, the Election Integrity Committee, and the Presidential Nomination Process Committee.
Power lives in Tallahassee with his wife, Melissa, and their children, Emerson and Evelyn.
